Welcome to the FOSS @ VCS website
This is the website of the ICT Hub Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) in the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) project, funded by the ICT Hub. Between now and March 2008 the project will be developing a number of key services aimed at strengthening the potential for FOSS use in the sector.
The website will serve as an area for providing news and reports on the progress of the project. We also value your input. You are welcome to sign on as a subscriber and participate in the forums that will be discussing the work of the project and the wiki where the various aspects of the project will be developed.
The main areas of work for the project are:
- Building FOSS service supply to the VCS
- Developing FOSS training for the sector
- Developing certified standards for VCS FOSS professionals
